The album was released in 1981 as part of the LP box set: Paul Simon: Collected Works.

In Japan it was released in the seventies with the name of  SIMON BEFORE GARFUNKEL

Also release as LP bootleg: PAUL SIMON SOLO. With bonus tracks from S&G Smothers Brothers TV show

1.                 Original issue: SIMON & GARFUNKEL on one line; SOUNDS OF SILENCE on another, all in capital letters, no song titles on the front.

2.                 Second issue: Enlarged title letters, with only the first word of the title capitalized.

3.                 Third issue: Same front cover as the second, the back cover has the copy of Tiger Beat magazine airbrushed out.
